How to Join

Please click on join in any of the membership criteria below to fill the online form or download the form and send the hardcopy to our address.

Acknowledgement & Vetting

The Secretariat will contact you to acknowledge receipt of your application form, on email or by telephone. Your application will be reviewed and vetted at the next board committee meeting (usually held on the third Monday of every month) 

Confirmation

Once the application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation from the CEO plus more information from the Secretariat. You will be required to pay a joining fee and or annual subscription fee. Our financial year runs from 1st October to 30th September. Invoices and receipts will be provided for all payments.

Payment

Once the application has been approved. Subscription payment can be made through the following payment methods:
Cheque: Payable to the British Business Association of Kenya.
Mpesa:  LIPA NA MPSEA TILL - NUMBER 172463
Online payment: Credit card payments    



Membership Criteria

Sterling

Open to:

FTSE 100 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange representing different sectors in Kenya.

Qualifying Criteria:
Applicant company must qualify against at least one of the following:

  1. British Company
  2. British Directors or Shareholders
  3. Doing business in UK (Please attach details of the companies you are working with)
  4. In partnership with UK companies (Please attach documented details of those partnerships)

Open to:

Kenyan businesses looking to increase and expand exports from Kenya to the UK, partner with UK businesses, and increase trade between countries.

Qualifying Criteria:

Any company/firm which operates in Kenya and is engaged or intends to be engaged in business with any UK company. Or any company/firm whose all or some shareholders, directors or partners are British citizens.

Qualifying Criteria:
Applicant company must qualify against at least one of the following:

  2. British Directors or Shareholders
  3. Doing business in UK (Please attach details of the companies you are working with)
  4. In partnership with UK companies (Please attach documented details of those partnerships)

Open to:


Any person who is either a British citizen OR is engaged or intends to be engaged in business with any UK company AND is self-employed or employing no more than 9 other persons.

Qualifying Criteria:

  4. In partnership with UK companies (Please attach documented details of those partnerships)
